1. Acceptance of the terms

By using the platform or creating an account, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

If you use the platform on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind it to these terms.

2. Services

Deaf Gain provides technology, education and digital accessibility services, including courses and training, service provider profiles, employment services and AI-powered tools. Services may change, be suspended or be added over time, and what is available can vary by account type.

3. Accounts

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information when you register.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • Use by children is subject to legal safeguards and may require consent from a parent or legal representative.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Share images or clips of people without the right or the required consent.

5. Content and intellectual property

You keep the intellectual property rights in the content you upload. You grant Deaf Gain a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the service you requested.

The platform, its software, designs, tools and original content remain the property of their owners. You confirm you have the right to upload the content you provide.

6. Sign language clips

Clips may contain images, voices or information that identify people. Uploading a clip does not give Deaf Gain or anyone else an unlimited right to publish, sell or reuse it for independent purposes. Any additional use, such as public posting, research or AI model training, requires a proper legal basis and consent suited to that specific purpose.

7. AI tools

AI outputs may contain errors in translation, assessment or interpretation. Review important outputs, especially those affecting education, employment or access to services, and do not rely on them alone for significant decisions.

8. Providers, companies and educational institutions

The platform is a technical intermediary connecting users with these parties. Each party is responsible for its own services, the accuracy of its information and its contractual relationship with the user. Deaf Gain does not guarantee the outcome of any course, job application or certificate.

Your personal data is processed in line with our Privacy, Data Protection and Digital Rights Policy published on the platform.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Services are provided “as is”. We work to keep them available and high quality, but we do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by Egyptian law, Deaf Gain is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. This does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account if these terms or the law are breached, or if there is a risk to the platform or its users, and we will notify you where possible. Provisions that by nature continue after termination remain in effect.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms when services or laws change. We publish the updated version with its date and ask for new consent where the law requires it. These terms are governed by Egyptian law, and the competent Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting your statutory rights.
